Walking the Fife Coastal Path 🥾

November 2025 update

I’m back at it again, doing my best to get a few more miles under my belt before Christmas, but a calamity has struck! The boots I purchased last spring have worn out and I am going to have to bite the bullet with a potentially more expensive replacement. A present from home, perhaps…but if anyone has recommendations for great ladies’ walking boots, I would be most grateful.

July 2025 update

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that I have made an amendment to the above slide – unfortunately, work has gotten in the way and I’ve realised that it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be able to achieve my goal by the end of next January. Traveling means an exciting opportunity to see new places and meet new people, but also means jet-lag, inevitable occasional illness (I was taken out for two weeks in June) and a lot of time away from Fife.

It doesn’t mean I’m going to stop trying, but it does mean I have to remember to pace myself, and make sure I am still having fun on these walks, not stressing out over another few miles. I’ve covered most of the East Neuk, and the south coast of Fife is a bit harder to reach, so requires more planning and time. I’ll get there!
